Bonus points

You can assign “bonus points” to any product. These bonus points will be added to the customer account when a product is purchased. Bonus points can also be set up with a negative format. Typical examples when such a format is used are events for VIP customers and sales of season tickets to fitness centers or saunas. You can also use bonus points in combination with EAN code customer cards.

You can assign bonus points to individual products either directly in the cash register or in Dotypos Cloud.

 

Practical examples:

Product sales

Set up +30 points for wine products. A customer that buys wine earns 30 points for their account. When the account reaches 1,000 points, the customer can get a reward, such as a bottle of sparkling wine. This means sparkling wine will be the next product, the price is CZK 0 and the point value is -1,000. Once customers earn 1000 points, you “sell” them the sparkling wine at no price and 1000 points will be automatically deducted from the customer’s account.

Services sale

Create a SEASON TICKET valued at +1000 points. Then create FITNESS ENTER valued at -100 points. When a one-time sale of FITNESS ENTER is made, 100 points will be deducted from the customer’s account, and the customer will be able to use the season ticket for 10 admissions.

If the customer has at least one bonus point on their account, the total sum of points + value of points for this sale will be printed on the receipt when selling to this customer account.
