Pairing the waiter with the cash register

After installing Mobile waiter on the smart device, you have to pair it with the touch cash register.

Open the application Mobile waiter. After first run, Mobile waiter searches the network and shows touch cash registers with the application Dotypos that it found. Tap to select your cash register. If the cash register is not on the list, it is probably not available in the network. In this case check the network preferences in your establishment. Or you can alternatively enter the cash register’s IP address directly using the button Is your cash register missing?.

Once you select the main cash register, the Mobile waiter will wait for the authorization (pairing) that has to be done in the touch cash register.

So go to the touch cash register you are pairing the mobile waiter with (selected in the preceding step) and open Dotypos application settings. In the top right corner, click on the button DEVICE AUTHORIZATION.

Now you can see the list of devices waiting to be authorized. You authorize the device just by taping on it so it will move to the section Authorized. You can also cancel the authorization just by clicking on the already authorized device.

Once you successfully authorize Mobile waiter in Dotypos, it will switch to the standard mode and will display the main screen with products and categories. If you use more Mobile waiters, complete the authorization process for each device with the application Mobile waiter installed. So select the cash register for the connection first and then authorize the waiters for this cash register.

License restrictions

If after running Mobile waiter the following notice is displayed, it means you do not have a license for its operating (Dotypos FULL or UNLIMITED), or you reached your limit of one waiter per Dotypos FULL. If you need to use more Mobile waiters, you have to upgrade to the license Dotypos UNLIMITED. Separate licenses for Mobile waiter are not available. To upgrade the license you can use the button DEMAND ACCESS to verify the license and unlock Mobile waiter.
