Dotypos Cloud

During the activation of each cash register, a web storage (so-called “cloud”) for it is created. In this, cloud the cash register stores its data and settings that you manage in Dotypos Cloud. In case you are already activating a second or another cash register, you can connect these cash registers to an already existing cloud so they will share their data and settings (see picture below).

Dotypos Cloud is a simple web interface for managing individual touch cash registers. A Dotypos Cloud account is automatically created after successfully completing the activation wizard when the Dotypos application is first run. Dotypos Cloud is optimized for display on mobile devices, e.g. smartphones or tablets. So data is accessible from anywhere.

In Dotypos Cloud you can (among others) set the ERS mode for all cash registers, perform a batch products import, change them or perform a batch stock in, stock-taking and also assign privileges to individual (employees) users. So Dotypos Cloud allows you to remotely manage (e.g. comfortably from your home) individual cash registers and monitor sales.

Data from individual cash registers is synchronized in real time. The cash registers must have a stable Internet connection to keep them up-to-date. However, if the cash registers cannot be connected to the Internet permanently, the data are synchronized always when the connection is active, even retrospectively. You can try the Dotypos Cloud interface in a special demo account. The Dotypos demo version is for anyone wishing to try it out and get familiar with it. The data shown there is for testing only and is not connected to any cash register. So you can try adding products or setting ingredients for instance without any worries.
